Student Social Week

• Enlightium Academy is proud to offer students the unique opportunity to participate in a variety of educational and competitive events.
• All students have the option to participate in an Enlightium Academy social event; students who prefer not to participate because they are already participating in sports, fine arts, the Student Council, etc., simply need to submit a waiver.
• Students will have the opportunity to purchase t-shirts specific to their social club.
• For the 2025-2026 school year, Student Social Week will be held September 8 - September 12, 2025. Late registration will be available for most events. Registration will take place in the Enlightium Parents app.

1. Families can only sign up for a social club or program in the Enlightium Parents app.
2. From there, navigate to the main menu and select “Customer Portal”.
   • If needed, you can sign into the portal using the email address provided on the enrollment form.
   • Click "Getting Started" to learn about the Customer Portal, or "Access Portal" to proceed.
3. Click on the "Forms" tab. If you have more than one student enrolled at Enlightium Academy, select your student’s name.
4. Click the "Club Registration Form" button.

Yes! Every enrolled student can participate in an event.

Can my student participate in more than one social event, such as the Pen Pal Program and Chess Club?
Ideally, students will only join in one social activity to avoid being spread too thin across academics, social, and spiritual offerings.

Does my student have to register for a club?
Not at all! We know many students already participate in social events locally or have a full schedule, but it is highly encouraged.

How will my student get credit for his or her attendance?
Students log their social club attendance by obtaining a password from the leader of the club during each session and entering that in our attendance form.

I need to cancel⁄change my decision to register⁄waive. What should I do?
In the Enlightium Parents app, go to the app menu, "Social," and then "Correction Form."

Does my student have to register for Student Social Week?
No, but it is highly encouraged. Many families opt out because their students are involved in social opportunities outside of Enlightium. If your student is going to opt out, please submit the Opt Out Form by going to the Enlightium Parents app, clicking on the menu, selecting "Social", and then "Opt Out".

I missed Student Social Week. Can I still register my student?
Yes! Open registration is available for most social opportunities. Registration for all events closes at the start of the fourth quarter.

Can my student join a social club that is not available at their grade level?
Not at this time.

Can my student sign up for more than one social opportunity?
Yes, but often students who sign up for more than one social opportunity do not have enough time and energy for both. You can sign up for a second social opportunity by submitting the registration form twice.

I signed my student up for a social opportunity, but they won't be able to participate. What should I do?
Please email social@enlightiumacademy.com to make an update.

Is Student Council a part of Student Social Week?
It is not, but students can opt out of Student Social Week if running for Student Council.

• In the Art Club, students will be given art assignments to complete every month.
• Each month will focus on a different style or media of art.

• In the Bible Memorization Club, students commit Bible verses to memory and will meet with their club leader and fellow participants a few times throughout the school year for fellowship.
• Students then join a Zoom session once per quarter to compete against other Enlightium students in a memorization test.

• In Book Clubs, students read the books on their own and discuss them with an Enlightium club lead and other students.

• In the Chess Club, students learn the essential strategies and tactics of a historic game.
• Students play games and participate in tournaments to compete with their peers.

• In the Crochet Club, students learn the art of stitching, explore new patterns, and share tips while creating beautiful, handmade projects.

• In the Equestrian Club, students have the opportunity to learn about horses, how to care for them, and share fun horse stories.

• In the Faith in Action Program, students have an opportunity to grow in the knowledge of the gospel and develop invaluable skills for living out their Christian faith vibrantly in today’s world.

• In the Lego Club, students explore creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork while building unique structures and tackling fun challenges.

• In the Pen Pal Program, a student gets paired up with another Enlightium student of a similar grade level. 
• Students write letters, learn about each other's culture, and make a friend that will last a lifetime!

• In the Running Club, students discuss running topics such as hydration, food choices, and finding their preferred terrain. 

• In the Service Club, students explore the concept of Christian service and create opportunities for students to practice being a servant to those around them.

• In the Sign Language Club, students will focus on everyday phrases, signing in different languages, and songs.
• Students can participate in Enlightium’s Student Worship Team to sign during praise/worship.
