Withdrawal Process: New Students
 | - New families at Enlightium Academy are offered a 30-day trial period to see if Enlightium Academy is a good fit for them. If, for whatever reason, you choose to withdraw before classes start, all tuition paid would be refunded. Once classes begin, you have 30 days to try Enlightium risk-free. If you withdraw anytime during the 30 days, any tuition paid would be refunded. If cancellation occurs outside of the 30-day window, withdrawal fees will apply.
- The 30-day money-back guarantee applies only to tuition. Other fees, such as the custom payment plan fee or voucher processing fee, are not subject to the money-back guarantee.
- When a student withdraws from Enlightium Academy, tuition owed is calculated based on the student's start date and the month in which the withdrawal is processed. Tuition is prorated according to the portion of the academic year completed through the projected end of the school year in May. A $50 withdrawal fee will be added to the final balance for all withdrawals. For new families, the withdrawal fee is applicable if the enrollment is canceled after the conclusion of the 30-day money-back guarantee. See “Tuition Calculation” below for more details.

Withdrawal Process: Returning Students
| - Returning families have a 14-day adjustment period from the class start date. During this time, families may make course adjustments, support package modifications, or other changes without incurring additional fees.
- The adjustment period is designed for switching between courses or packages, not for cancellation without financial obligation. Any cancellations will remain subject to tuition charges. After this 14-day adjustment period, further changes will incur additional fees.
- Please note that the custom payment plan fee is fully refundable if cancellation occurs within 72 hours of enrollment. If cancellation occurs outside 72 hours of enrollment, the fee becomes nonrefundable.
- When a student withdraws from Enlightium Academy, tuition owed is calculated based on the student's start date and the month in which the withdrawal is processed. Tuition Calculation
 | - The total academic year is determined by the student's start month through the end of May; this is the case regardless of whether a summer school extension is included in the student's package.
- Examples:
- Students who begin in June (Early Start) are enrolled for a 12-month academic year.
- Students who begin in August are enrolled for a 10-month academic year.
- Students who begin in January are enrolled for a 5-month academic year.
- Upon withdrawal, families are responsible for tuition corresponding to the portion of the academic year during which the student was enrolled, plus the $50 withdrawal fee.

Additional Terms
 | - If a student completes all coursework for the academic year, the full annual tuition amount is due, even if the student subsequently withdraws.
- Time enrolled is calculated based on the start month, regardless of whether it is a partial or full month.
- For prepaid accounts, any eligible refund will be calculated based on the student's start date and official withdrawal date.
- Students who withdraw within the 30-day money-back guarantee period will not owe tuition and will receive a refund of any tuition paid. The 30-day guarantee period begins on the student's class start date.
- The custom payment plan fee or voucher processing fee is refundable only if enrollment is canceled within 72 hours of enrollment. After 72 hours, this fee is nonrefundable.
- The 30-day money-back guarantee applies only to new enrollments.
- If tuition is paid through a third-party voucher or funding source, the final balance may be impacted by program regulations or applicable state laws. Withdrawal balances and withdrawal fees may not be fully covered by third-party programs. The primary parent on the account is responsible for any amounts that are not covered by the third party.

A Note for the Book-Based Program
 | - For students in the Book-Based Program, the “beginning of coursework" is considered two weeks from the date that the book order form was emailed to the primary parent on file, or the requested start date, whichever is later.
