Semester 1 and Summer School Extensions (Grades PreK-12)

• A semester 1 and/or summer school extension may be suggested by your student's counselor so your student can finish their work.
• Additionally, families can request an extension for personal reasons, such as health needs or other family situations. They can also request an extension to give their student time to travel during the school year.
• Extension information will be provided via email to students who would benefit from the option.
• We strongly recommend enrolling in a Summer School Extension before Enlightium's summer break begins (typically early July). If you would like to enroll after summer break has started, please reach out to your counselor for approval.

Note: A first-semester extension does change the school end date

To request a first extension, please email your student’s counselor. Shortly after the counselor confirms an extension is needed, your family will be notified by the Billing Department regarding upcoming charges, if applicable.
