Enlightium Academy Support

Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)

  • Enlightium Academy is a private Christian school and does not receive federal funds through programs administered by the U.S. Department of Education. As a result, we are not subject to FERPA (the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act). While some families may use state-funded education savings accounts (ESAs) or voucher programs to pay tuition, these state-level funds do not alter our status under federal privacy law. We are nonetheless committed to protecting the privacy of our students' educational records.
  • However, we do take the protection of our student and family data seriously by following the privacy policy guidance as an accredited and approved K–12 school.
  • You can find information about FERPA here.
