CRx (Credit Recovery) Courses

CRx courses are generally assigned when a student has failed a class and needs to retake it.

CRx courses are available to students enrolled in the Online Program and the Enlightium Prep Online Program, and they are not available to students in the Book-Based Program.

CRx courses are alternative courses in Ignitia that allow students to test out of parts of the curriculum that they already know. Not every course has a CRx alternative.

At the beginning of every unit in a CRx course, students will take a pre-test. Based on how the student responds to questions on the pre-test, the system will automatically see what they know and will assign only the lessons that they need to relearn.

The time that it takes to complete a CRx course varies, as it depends on the results of each unit’s pre-test.
