Robotel Frequently Asked Questions

• For grades 9–12, Robotel serves as our standard language program for Spanish and German courses. Robotel provides an immersive language-learning experience that gives students opportunities to hear and use the language in meaningful ways. We have seen many students gain confidence and begin speaking the language as they progress through the program!
• We also understand that families may have questions or encounter challenges along the way. Below, you will find answers to some frequently asked questions as well as resources that may be helpful.

• ​Your student will go to this link and then sign in using their Ignitia username and password.

• This program is immersive, so students will jump right into speaking and listening.
• We want to provide resources to help students feel more comfortable and to explain more grammar concepts and vocabulary.
  • If you select the language on the world languages tab in LiveBinder, then you will see many helpful resources. These resources were collected by Enlightium teachers.
  • If your student ever has other questions, let us know.
• Please also know that we understand learning to speak a new language can be challenging. As we grade students’ work, we provide constructive feedback while also extending grace throughout the learning process. Our goal is not only to help students grow in their language skills, but also to help them feel supported and confident as they learn.

• Ignitia will keep students on track with their due dates. A placeholder course in Ignitia sho​ws students which assignment needs to be completed in Robotel each day.

• Here is a link to the Robotel Orientation information. Much of this information can also be found in Ignitia for students. At the bottom of the page, you’ll find a section with helpful suggestions for audio.
• Please feel free to reach out if your student needs any additional support.

• The grades will be transferred from Robotel to Ignitia by your teacher.
• Ignitia will be accurate for grades, progress, and due dates.
• For more detailed feedback on individual lessons, please review the comments your teacher shared in Robotel.

• Students can send messages directly to their teacher via Ignitia.
• Parents and students are also welcome to email their student’s world language teacher. You can learn more about each teacher and find their contact information in their welcome letter. Welcome letters are emailed at the beginning of the school year or after enrollment for students who join later.

• Your World Languages Electives teacher sends out a monthly newsletter to students with opportunities for extra credit and more.
• Students receive the newsletter through Ignitia.
